Everything you need to know ahead of your Middle of Somewhere weekend. More details will be sent to ticket holders closer to the event.

Middle of Somewhere takes place on private farmland in the Lincolnshire Wolds โ€” rolling hills, open skies, a lake, and no neighbours to worry about.

Look out for a Middle of Somewhere sign and a green salt bin. Drive up the dirt track to the car park and festival entrance. Please use the Google Maps pin provided and do not drive up Otby Lane.

Site Opens
Friday 31 July from 12pm through to Sunday 2 August.
Programme
Music starts Friday 2pm and runs through to Sunday morning.
Entry Closes
10pm on Friday and 7pm on Saturday. If you're arriving outside these hours please contact us in advance.
Re-entry
Re-entry is not permitted during the festival unless you are staying off-site. This must be arranged with us prior to the event.
Check In
Your ticket will be scanned at the car park on arrival, where you'll receive your wristband. Load your luggage into the vehicle provided โ€” it will be dropped to the campsite for you. Then follow the walking track down (approx 1 mile) and find your spot.
Getting Here

Travel

By Train
The nearest station is Market Rasen โ€” 3 hours from London Kings Cross. Taxis from Market Rasen are limited. We are offering lifts from Market Rasen Station to the festival site โ€” available to purchase on our ticket site. Deadline: Monday 27 July.

If travelling via Newark, avoid journeys that connect Newark Northgate and Newark Castle โ€” these involve a 20 minute walk between stations.

Alternatively, Lincoln station is also an option โ€” an Uber or taxi from Lincoln to the site is approximately ยฃ40โ€“60.
By Car
Free car parking is available on site. Journey time from London is 3โ€“4 hours. Please purchase a free car parking pass via our ticket site so we can manage numbers.
Lift Sharing
We have a Car Share WhatsApp group for people driving to the festival with space in their car. Link will be sent to ticket holders ahead of the event.

Useful Info

Phone & WiFi
There is no WiFi on site and phone signal is limited. Download your tickets in advance and bring a battery pack โ€” there are no charging points on site.
Toilets
Toilets are provided across the site. No showers โ€” we recommend a cold lake swim to cure your hangover. Don't forget your towel and swimmers.
Camping
Camping is included with all tickets. Bring your own tent and find a nice spot among the hills. Campervans and caravans are welcome โ€” please let us know in advance. No electricity hookup available. Sleeping in cars is not permitted.
Airbnbs
There are a small number of reasonably priced Airbnbs nearby, around a 30 minute walk from site. Contact us directly for more information.
Food

Drinks
BYO alcohol is welcome โ€” no glass on site please. Our fully stocked bar serves cold drinks at reasonable prices. Cashless event โ€” card and contactless only.
Sound
Sound provided by Rigfiftyone โ€” a state-of-the-art sound system with engineers from London. Serving iconic events including Boomtown.

Photography
Professional photographers and videographers will be on site discreetly. We kindly ask that you respect our No Phones On The Dancefloor policy โ€” be present, make memories, enjoy it.
Dress
Bring boots or wellies in case of wet weather. Warm layers for the evenings. Pray for sun.
Accessibility
The site has undulating terrain and is not fully wheelchair accessible. Please get in touch and we'll do everything we can to accommodate your needs.

Middle of Somewhere is dedicated to being as sustainable as possible. We are passionate about looking after our site and the planet. Please help us by:

On Site
Use the bins provided. Do not litter. Be respectful of the farmland. Use a reusable water bottle. Take all your camping equipment home with you.
Cigarettes
Please dispose of cigarette butts in bottles or ash trays. Do not throw them on the ground โ€” this is a serious fire risk when the land is dry.

Yes โ€” wood-fired pizzas and tacos (meat, veggie, vegan and gluten-free options), a BBQ on Saturday with Lincoln Red beef from the farm, breakfast options each morning, and free coffee.
